Sport Vision become the Irina Deleanu Cup official sponsor, an international event of rhythm gymnastic held in Bucharest, Romania, between 18th and 23rd of May 2021. The competition featured over 400 gymnasts, both juniors and seniors. Among them were qualified Olympic contenders like Kaho Minagawa from Japan, Zeng Laura and Griskenas Evita from the USA.
The gymnasts competed in a multidisciplinary discipline of gymnastics and take part in 2 events: Team all-around and Individual All-around. They performed expressive and acrobatic moves using a hoop, a ball, a pair of clubs, a ribbon or a rope. The competition was organized by the Romanian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, under the auspices of the International Gymnastics Federation.
Previously, only national gymnasts have represented their countries. Now there was an opportunity for young and talented gymnasts to show their abilities. Therefore, Irina Deleanu Cup was among the events with the highest concentration of young gymnasts.
Irina Deleanu Cup is a great opportunity for young athletes to showcase their talents and the new acrobatic content in rhythmic gymnastics. It is the only major competition in Romania that brings together juniors and seniors, along with the younger generation — the kids.
