Foundation “For our children” is an NGO with decades-long history in Bulgaria. For Our Children Foundation is the successor of the British human rights organizations European Children's Trust, Christian Children's Fund and Every Child.
Children with motor, communication and cognitive impairments are children like everyone else. They have the right to live, study, play and have fun with other children. In order to develop fully, they need to be included in all spheres of life, such as sport.
The foundation organized a special sport competition in 2021, aimed at children with disabilities, part of the program. Such events are of great importance because they prove that sport means health for all people, has many benefits for people with disabilities and also creates fruitful opportunities to socialize for all participants, partners, visitors and organizers.
For the competition Sport Vision provided all needed products for the participants. Additionally, outside of the competition we donated weights of 0,5 kg for arms and legs which will be used by the professional rehabilitators as part of the therapy to provide support the motor system of children with cerebral palsy or other conditions. In addition, Sport Vison also provided yoga mats and other accessories which will help the children practice more sports and gymnastics.
